When choosing a screensaver, it's always best to go for something practical. Sure, you could have Britney Spears or the Jonas Brothers parading all over your screen when your phone's idle, but will they help you manage your time? I doubt it.

DesignClock is one of the more useful screensavers available for Series 60 phones. It places an animated digital clock on your device, along with icons that indicate new emails or missed calls. There's also a calendar that shows you clearly what day it is.

There are a number of customization options within DesignClock, such as the ability to set the start time and duration time of the animation, as well as tinkering with the font color and transparency.

DesignClock comes with just two preset backgrounds: a Windows-style grassy wallpaper, and a beach one. You can add your own pictures though, if you're not happy with either of these.

If you want an attractive way of telling the time on your phone, DesignClock makes for a neat solution.
